I have been interested in computer since childhood, but I didn’t concider programming as my future becuase of a big LIE.
The BIG LIE I was told
Since childhood i was told this BIG LIE.
You must be good at MATH to become a PROGRAMMER!!! But the reality is the opposite, you actually don’t need any math when coding, you just need LOGICAL thinking and that’s it.
This is the belief that hold me back for years
I remember how I started to learn JAPANESE language. I really love JPN and wanted to live in Japan when I grow up. I started learning Japanese when I was at high-school.
Despite the fact that I really loved JAPAN and even wanted to LIVE there, I was the worst student in class for the first six months.
But one my Japanese teacher wanted to have a talk with me. She thought that my ears can’t hear well the pronunciation of words in the class and she was so so concerned about that. But I told her that I am totally fine.
After this incident I started to take JAPANESE very seriously. In just a matter of weeks I become the best JPN student in my high-school because I was studying it literally everywhere. I was studying it even on the bus during my commute to school and also I learnt JPN during other subjects too.
And now I am living in JAPAN – my dream country.
It seems that other very talented people have also had these kind of enlightening moments that forced them to become the best of the best in some field.
My favourite is of course Isaac Newton. In his case a fight in the school yard, which he won, was his turning point to beat that student in other subjects as well.
So, I am now applying my Japanese learning experience to become also very good at coding because I really want to build a good app for my clients and online fitness community where fitness lovers can communicate and train together.
You just need CONFIDENCE that you can, I don’t give up just because it’s HARD. All new things are hard at first but bebcome easier with time when you have mastered the basics.
And then this happened…
On 2024-April-29th is this video showed up in my YouTube feed. And his story is 100% similar to my story to change career. I am a very sucesful fitness trainer who owns two gyms in Tokyo. But I feel that something is missing in my life. I miss the days when I was working crazy hours to build my gym and get new clients.
Thanx to his video I now what is missing in my LIFE. I need to become aslos very good at coding and then combine fitness & coding to build something exciting that can be built only by coder who has very strong background (and results) in fitness. Coding will be my next life project to get my fitness message out to the people who need it.
